Hi, I’m Tori!

I’ve spent the last 10 years working hands-on with animals, shaping my career around compassion, communication, and growth. I am pet CPR certified, an accredited dog trainer, and a master cat groomer, and I’ve taken countless courses throughout the years to deepen my knowledge and expand the support I can offer to pets and their families.

I always knew I wanted to do something with animals that felt more meaningful than making them look pretty or watching them play. I wanted to help them feel safe, understood, and empowered, and to help their humans build a stronger, more trusting bond with them. Being able to guide that connection—especially for rescues, senior pets, or animals with trauma histories—is what fulfills me on a soul-deep level.

I feel honored when I can help a family navigate the challenges that come with age, fear, or behavioral hurdles. Holding space for animals who are learning, healing, or rediscovering trust is the heart of my work.

I named my business Familiar Pet Care because, as a spiritual person from the Salem area, I’ve always resonated with the concept of a witch’s familiar. In folklore, a familiar is a magical creature who is summoned to walk beside a witch, offering protection, connection, and spiritual guidance. Similarly, I believe the animals in our lives are not “just pets”—they are extensions of our heart and soul. They’re family, they’re reflections of us, and they deserve grace and understanding just as much as we do.
